Amsterdam for STEM students

Posted on behalf of Next Gen Amsterdam. Blogged by Hugh Nicholson-Lailey on August 7, 2017.

Next Gen is inviting 200 final year students – and students who graduate this year – from tech-related subjects to participate in a week-long international talent track in Amsterdam, from October 4th – 6th, during Amsterdam’s eWeek, a major European digital festival.

Apply now, and for only for only €35, students get access to both eWeek and Next Gen (a regular eWeek ticket is €900!). Please note, invited students will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.

The Next Gen  track provides you with networking opportunities, peer connections, and career orientation. You will have the unique opportunity to visit Tech companies with European HQs in Amsterdam — Booking.com, TomTom, Catawiki, Optimizely, Atlassian, and others. Their CTO’s and lead engineers are sharing insights and opening up about the newest and most challenging projects. Possible speakers for Next Gen include Galit Ariel (creative and strategic thinker), Steve Gooder (Head of Digital Technology Virgin Trains) and Nils Wollny (Head of Digital Business Strategy & Customer Experience at Audi).

In addition,  you get to attend eWeek, with  80 companies, 45+ events, and 480 well-known speakers.
