Announcing the Laidlaw Internship Programme in Research and Leadership

Blogged by Fiona Whitehouse on November 24, 2016.

Are you an undergraduate interested in developing your leadership potential? Could you design and undertake an independent research project at a world-leading institution?

The University of Oxford is delighted to launch the Laidlaw Internship Programme in Research and Leadership. This new programme will provide up to 25 successful applicants with generous funding for a research project to be undertaken in the 2017 summer vacation, and an externally accredited leadership training programme.

This is open to all undergraduates (including finalists) from any subject. The Laidlaw Programme provides a great opportunity for you to design and run a short, funded research project on a topic of your choice, whatever your plans after your undergraduate degree.

If you are interested, we encourage you to review all the details on our website, then discuss this exciting opportunity with your current tutors, supervisors, colleagues and others. You can undertake the research project at any leading institution in the world, and you will need to identify a supervisor for your project who must provide a short letter of support.

Applications close on 8th February 2017. For more information and the application form, see our web pages and register your interest in the programme.
