Carpmaels & Ransford – Patent Work Internship

Blogged by Claire Chesworth on 08/03/2018.

Gaining work experience in the patent profession is notoriously difficult to obtain, however, Carpmaels & Ransford are running a two week paid internship programme in London from 2-13 July 2018 which will include seminars, case studies, work shadowing and involvement in client conferences and active cases.

Applicants will have 360 UCAS points and will have achieved (or be on course for) a minimum of a 2:1 degree, ideally in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, material science, physics, electronics, engineering or computer science. You must be available for the duration of the internship. Further information can be found at

Closing date: 20 April 2018

Priority will be given to applicants who are expecting to complete their academic studies or research within the academic year following the intern programme.
