Don’t forget social media! Many employers are on Twitter, and happy to answer messages sent @them from potential applicants.
Top tips:
- See our Twitter lists for each sector to find examples of people to follow and tweet at!
- Keep your eyes out for Twitter Q&A sessions…
How Twitter Q&As work:
Although all will reply to questions, it’s often someone in their marketing department who is doing the answering, so it’s great when graduate recruiters announce a twitter Q&A: it means that they’ll have the key respondents for your question together at one time, writing more tailored replies to any questions you have.
A Twitter Q&A coming up: Redshift Strategy (digital strategic consultancy) – Wednesday 31st October
Ask messages to @redshiftsc from 4pm to get answers from Stephen Taylor, Founding Director as well as new graduate recruit Rob Collier and HR Director Carolyn Wileman.
