Final 2017 internships advertised through the Internship Programme!

Blogged by Rachel Ruscombe-King on June 15, 2017.

The Internship Programme has now released the final two internships available for this summer. No more new internships will now be available through the programme for this year! To ensure you don’t miss out, see CareerConnect for details of our newest opportunities, available exclusively to Oxford students:

Oxford Citizens Advice provides advice to help people to overcome their problems, and encourages them to come together to campaign on big issues. During July, or ‘Scams awareness month’, the intern will analyse data relating to scams, establish trends and changes over time, as well as conducting qualitative research across our larger client community as regards their awareness and potential responsiveness to ‘scammers’. A second project will analyse data on social media by conducting market research on how other voluntary sector organisations interface effectively with social media, and establish how the public might be better encouraged to recognise and use our growing social media presence. (Application deadline 22 June 2017)

fuseAware is a tech start-up and creators of an app to notify workers when they enter danger zones and thus prevent workplace injuries and deaths. The intern would help develop and write the algorithms that the app/system code uses in order to make its decisions. (Application deadline 23 June 2017).
