Posted on behalf of 1millionwomentotech. Blogged by Hugh Nicholson-Lailey on 15/05/2018.

Interested in learning to code [from scratch] or improving your coding skills this summer? Pre-register now for this free online summer programming course running from 14 July to 14 October for women and anyone who identifies as non-binary.

This new initiative (led by an Oxford student) is designed to get more women coding, so unfortunately, men are not invited – but please do support by sharing details on social media.

Participants will receive week-by-week instruction over 12 weeks into python, javascript, and exploring natural language processing, AI, Blockchain, VR and AR … and there’s a weekly hack challenge, with additional online support, to fun and to try out your new skills and check progress. See more information at 1millionwomentotech.

Still nearly 60 days left to apply, or to forward the invitation to friends.
