If all the appointments you can make are booked up, you might like to attend a drop-in session instead.
Please note that during Weeks 1,2,4,5,6 and 8 of Trinity term 2013, Juliet Tomlinson’s Thursday afternoon appointments are held at Room 101, Law Faculty, St Cross. Legal careers enquires can be dealt with during these sessions or at any of Juliet’s sessions held at Banbury Road.
Failure or lateness in attending bookable meetings
All our bookable events are extremely popular and usually have a waiting list – reserving a place and not using it is unprofessional and seriously affects your fellow students. Accordingly, we reserve the right to suspend your access to the Careers Service and/or to CareerConnect if you fail to show to events for which you have booked, and for which ‘no-shows’ you offer no reasonable and timely explanation.
Our 1:1 discussions are often fully booked and, given they are limited to only 10, 15 or 20 minutes, we may reschedule yours or move you to the ‘drop-in’ list if you are more than 5 minutes late so as not to inconvenience other students.

CV Clinics
In term time, we hold CV Clinics at Exam Schools each week. These are ten minute appointments where a member of the Careers Service gives you feedback and advice on your CV. The appointments are run every Monday lunchtime, in weeks 1-8. To book, please log into CareerConnect.
We also run German CV reviews each week during term. These are 30 minute appointments, held at the Careers Service. To book, please log in to CareerConnect.
