Paid teaching placements in the further education sector

Blogged by Abby Evans on February 13, 2018.

Cognition (funded by the Education & Training Foundation) are offering final year undergraduates and graduates the chance to participate in paid teaching work placements in the further education sector.

The placements are open to final year undergraduates and postgraduates in six key locations and their surrounding areas: London, Leicester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge and Manchester. Cognition will match you to a college or training provider in your preferred location.

£300 will be paid to participants on completion of the teaching work placement.

You will be supported throughout your placement by a mentor who will be your key point of contact at the college/training provider. The placement will be for 40 hours at some point during March/April 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity to increase your employability skills and enhance your CV, whilst exploring the requirements of pursuing a teaching career in Further Education, in a supportive environment.

Places are limited so you are encouraged to make an early application.
