Career support for international students

The University of Oxford is a truly global community, with students from 138 countries around the world. The Careers Service provides support to international students by:

  • helping you investigate your skills, motivation and interests
  • providing information on a variety of occupations 
  • assisting you with your job search in the UK or overseas
  • delivering skills training such as application and CV writing
  • linking you to international employers, through the job vacancies listing and events
  • providing access to the Resource Centre for partners of international students

International internships
As part of creating a more international experience for our students, the University runs the International Internship Programme, during the summer vacation. Past internships have been in Toronto, Shanghai, Beijing, Lisbon and Washington DC.
