Transformative, fully-funded, international leadership experience available!

Blogged by Corina Lacurezeanu on 08/11/2018.

The University of Oxford is looking for one Oxford University undergraduate student to participate in the 2019 McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character (MCLC) which provides undergraduate participants with a unique leadership experience.

The 7th Annual McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character will be held from 21 March – 24 March 2019 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. 24 international student fellows will be selected from a competitive pool of dozens of countries across the globe.

The theme will be “Leading with Character in a Technology Driven World“. Our world, our organisations, and our interactions with others continue to be shaped by evolving technology. We are interested in discussing how technology has impacted leadership; we will explore this impact through the study of:

Making Decisions in a Crisis,
Developing Character, and
Leading Innovation.

This year’s MCLC will be an experience that will bring young leaders from around the world together and challenge them to explore and share their unique leadership ideals in a diverse setting, under the guidance and mentorship of senior fellows from a broad spectrum of industries.

The application deadline is Friday, 16 November 2018. For more information, and how to apply, please see the MCLC page on CareerConnect.
