ABC Accuracy Cup competition opens for registration

The Accuracy Business Cup (ABC) is a two-stage competition for teams of students from leading universities. The competition is hosted by consulting firm, Accuracy, together with a large listed European multinational company (previous editions have been held in partnership with Pernod Ricard, SUEZ, LVMH, Danone, L’Oréal and Michelin). Students will be asked to work on the partner company’s key strategic/financial issues.

Apply online: The event is open to students across all degree programmes who are interested in Consulting, Strategy and Finance. To participate, teams (of three students) just need to submit their CVs for selection through the Accuracy Business Cup website.

Stage 1: National Round

The competition will begin with teams being briefed on a case study that they will have several days to work on. Once teams have submitted their cases, we will review the submissions and invite the top teams to compete in the national final. Over the course of a day, finalist teams will work on a new case with coaching from our consultants before they present their findings to Accuracy partners and senior employees of the subject company. A similar process will be held at the same time in our other international offices.

Kick-off: 2 February 2022, and deadline for submission: 8 February 2022. National final: 10 or 11 February 2022

Stage 2: International Round

The winning team from each office will then be invited to the international final where they will face the winning teams from Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands and Spain on a final case study. Subject to travel restrictions, the international round will be held in person in Paris, France.

International final: March 2022

Prizes for the each member of the winning team at both the national and international rounds. For example, our previous national champions each won luxury suitcases, whilst the international champions each won an all-expenses-paid weekend in Europe.
