The 2022 Government Legal Profession (GLP) Legal Trainee recruitment campaign has now launched. The deadline for completed application forms and Situational Judgement Test (SJT) is Tuesday, 10 May, at midday.
There are around 60 legal trainee places available for those looking to qualify as solicitors and barristers, starting in 2023 or 2024. The places are primarily based in London, however, there are two trainee solicitor places available in the Leeds office of the Government Legal Department (GLD).
The participating departments are:
- Government Legal Department (i.e. generalist and commercial law training places on offer)
- HM Revenue & Customs
- Competition and Markets Authority
- National Crime Agency
