Dedicated services for research staff available until 31 July 2026
We have greatly valued supporting Oxford’s research staff with dedicated careers advice, events and resources, and we hope those who have used our services have found them beneficial.
The dedicated Careers Service provision for research staff at the University of Oxford will end on 31 July 2026, as the funding that supports this service is not being renewed. From 1 August 2026, University of Oxford research staff will no longer be able to:
- book one-to-one careers advice appointments
- attend Careers events
- receive dedicated careers newsletters
- access CareerConnect, or
- request Careers Service talks and workshops delivered exclusively for research staff.
Postgraduate students are not affected by this change.
