These informal sessions are intended to provide an open and impartial forum for you to learn more about the reality of becoming and being an academic, how to position yourself for success, and practical guides for your job search and the application process in the UK and globally. All are led by Careers Advisers and we often invite early career academics and others to join us to share deeper insights.

The Insight into Academia seminars for the term ahead are advertised from 0th week in our term planner and in the events calendar of CareerConnect. You can attend as many or as few of the seminars as you wish. Please book the seminar(s) of your choice via the event listing in CareerConnect.
Insight into Academia is open to current matriculated Oxford University students, alumni and early career research staff at the university.
