The Science, Engineering and Technology Fair offers Oxford University students, researchers and alumni the chance to explore internships and graduate roles in a variety of technical areas.
Organisations attending range from leading global companies to specialist technology firms with a focus on energy, engineering consultancy, science R&D, patent work, IT, transport, and many more. Oxford University careers advisers will also be on hand to answer your questions.
The Science, Engineering and Technology Fair is open to all Oxford University students, but of particular interest to those studying science, engineering, computing or maths.
Pre-registration is not mandatory but don't forget to bring your University Card!

Pre-fair talks
09:30 - 10:00, at the Examination Schools
In this pre-fair session, we will give an overview of the many ways to gain experience and secure internships in the science and technology sector. We will cover opportunities in university labs and in research institutes, and in industry from tiny start-ups to global companies. This is also an introduction to internships worldwide offered by the Micro-Internship Programme and Summer Internship Programme.

This session offers researchers an informal opportunity to discuss career options with an adviser, focusing on how to leverage a doctorate or academic experience to attract recruiters by identifying and enhancing relevant skills.
10:00 - 10:30, at the Examination Schools
We aim to provide an overview of Softwire – its culture and values and an insider's point of view of working there! We will also share some case studies of our projects and what the recruitment process looks like.
