There are many factors to be taken into account when weighing up whether postgraduate study is right for you and if so, which of the many programmes available you should choose. This session will deal with questions such as 'When is it worth doing a Master's degree?', 'What advantages will a postgraduate degree give me in the job market?', 'Is it better to do further study now or after working for a couple of years?' and 'How should I decide which PhD place offer to accept?'.

This is a practical session covering course and institution choice, the application process, standardised tests and funding. It is particularly of interest to penultimate year students thinking of postgraduate study in 2022.
