Researcher Hub

Oxford’s Researcher Hub provides a warm and practical welcome to all researchers at Oxford, signposts key professional and career development opportunities across the University, and works to support researchers, their line managers and the University in fulfilling their respective responsibilities within the national Concordat for the Career Development of Researchers.

  • Oxford Research Staff Society (OxRSS) offers social and professional networking activities.
  • The university's Equality and Diversity Unit supports networks for BME Staff, Disabled Staff and LGBT+ Staff
  • Oxford's Newcomers' Club helps the newly-arrived partners of visiting scholars, of graduate students and of newly appointed academic and administrative members of the University to settle in and to provide an opportunity to meet people in Oxford. 
  • Research Services offers a broad range of support on funding, governance, reporting and more.
  • Aspect Accelerator is a growing network of organisations working together to support innovation, entrepreneurship and research commercialisation in social sciences
  • Research Design Service provides research design and methodological support to health and social care researchers across England
  • Research Professional – a useful source of information on grant funding and research job vacancies.
  • Enterprising Oxford - encourages and supports entrepreneurs, and promotes entrepreneurship across Oxfordshire.
  • Oxford Policy Engagement Network links researchers, doctoral students and professional services staff at the University of Oxford who share a vision of public policy powered by the world’s best available research evidence and expertise.
  • Translational Research Office supports researchers in their effort to translate their findings from basic biological, biomedical or clinical research into practical human health benefits such as new therapeutics, devices & diagnostics or other clinical interventions.
  • RISN - Research and Innovation Support Network is a community of colleagues involved in the support and management of research and innovation, both in Research Services and across the divisions. It provides a means to share best practice, encourage interdisciplinary activity, and identify opportunities for engagement.
