The Oxford University Careers Fair is intended to present students with opportunities across a variety of sectors, and to highlight the diverse range of career options and roles available to them. We are keen to welcome employers from a broad range of sectors ranging from retail and manufacturing, the creative arts, and communications, to non-profits and teaching, covering national and local businesses, as well as professional organisations.
What to expect
- One of our busiest and most vibrant fairs that normally attracts highly motivated students with varied skills and academic achievements.
- The fair is attended by large numbers of students from all four of our academic divisions. Historically the highest attendance is from students reading Philosophy, Politics & Economics, English, History, and all STEM subjects.

The Oxford University Science, Engineering and Technology Fair provides organisations with the opportunity to promote their work experience and recruitment opportunities within the science and engineering sectors, ranging from energy, engineering consultancy and scientific R&D, to patent work, transport and many others. The fair is open to all Oxford University students, but particularly relevant to those studying science and engineering subjects.
What to expect
- This fair normally sees undergraduates, postgraduates, and researchers every year, looking to explore technical and non-technical roles in STEM.
- It is common for this fair to attract large numbers of students studying towards qualifications in Engineering Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biochemistry, amongst many others.
